Job description
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be completing trunking, store deliveries, and RDC-to-RDC work, ensuring goods are delivered safely and efficiently across planned routes.
This role is ideal for professional Class 1 (C+E) drivers with strong knowledge of tachograph compliance, driving regulations, and transport operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing Class 1 trunking and store delivery routes
- Carrying out RDC to RDC and distribution work
- Conducting vehicle checks and compliance procedures
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Managing tachograph records and paperwork
- Maintaining high standards of professional driving and customer service
Pay & Benefits:
- Weekdays: £20.94 (Inclusive holiday pay) per hour
- Weekends: £21.31 per hour

Shift Patterns Available:
Rota Options:
- Tuesday – Saturday
- Sunday – Thursday
Shift Start Times:
- AM shifts: 01:00 – 03:00 starts
- Mid shifts: 08:00 – 12:00 starts
- PM shifts: 13:00 – 18:00 starts
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 Licence (C+E)
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience
- No DD or DR endorsements
- Valid Driver CPC card & up-to-date CPC modules
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused attitude
