Job Description
As an HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver, you will be completing trunking runs between depots, operating modern, clean, well-maintained vehicles. This is a straightforward trunking role with no handball, ideal for experienced drivers or confident newly qualified Class 1 drivers.
Shift Pattern:
- Start: 19:30 (Evening start)
- Route: Leighton Buzzard → Dover → Return
- Ongoing trunking work available
- Consistent nightly runs
Key Responsibilities:
- Completing Class 1 (C+E) trunking deliveries between RDCs
- Ensuring safe coupling and uncoupling of trailers
- Carrying out vehicle checks and adhering to all driver regulations
- Maintaining tachograph compliance
- Following all site and depot procedures
- Communicating effectively with transport team when required

Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence

- Strong attention to detail (coupling / trailer checks essential)
- Newly qualified Class 1 drivers considered
