We are currently recruiting a HGV Class 2 Driver to join their dedicated team in Dewsbury for on-going work. Immediate start available with consistent hours. You will be working on dustcarts, you’ll play a key role in ensuring waste is collected and disposed of efficiently and responsibly while contributing to their ongoing success.
Hours: Average 48 hours per week, Local agreed start time 4:00am Monday to Friday however must be flexible
What will you’ll be doing;
● Driving to planned collection locations and moving / emptying multiple commercial waste containers.
● Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
● Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
● Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads
Job description
Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles, primarily dustcarts, for waste collection.
Work closely with a team of loaders to complete scheduled routes.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and road regulations.
Provide excellent customer service to the public when required.

Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
Rear steer experience
CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Minimum 6 months experience preferred
Good understanding of UK driving regulations
