The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver, you will be responsible for completing residential and commercial waste collections, working alongside a team of loaders to ensure daily routes are completed safely and efficiently.
Key duties include:
- Driving a Class 2 dustcart / refuse vehicle
- Completing scheduled waste and recycling collections
- Working alongside refuse loaders
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Reporting defects and following compliance procedures
- Following health & safety regulations
- Providing a professional waste collection service
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Dustcart / Refuse experience preferred
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
