As a Refuse Loader / Waste Operative, you will be working as part of a waste collection team, supporting the safe and efficient collection of household and commercial waste. This is a physically active role requiring teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collecting domestic and commercial waste and recycling
- Loading bins and refuse onto collection vehicles
- Working as part of a team to complete daily routes efficiently
- Following all health & safety procedures and guidelines
- Maintaining a high standard of work and reliability
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Pay & Benefits:
- £12.71 per hour (standard rate)
- £14.24 per hour (including holiday pay)
- Saturday: £19.06 per hour
- Sunday: £25.42 per hour
- Weekly pay
- Ongoing, consistent work

Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday
- 06:00 start – approx. 15:00 finish
- Minimum 9 hours paid per shift
- Optional weekend work available (paid for hours worked)
Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Ability to start early morning shifts
- Previous waste or labouring experience (beneficial but not essential)
