Job description
As an HGV Class 1 Curtain Sider Driver, you will be completing general haulage deliveries and collections. This is a straightforward driving role with well-planned routes and minimal hassle, ideal for experienced Class 1 drivers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating a Class 1 curtain sider vehicle
- Completing general haulage deliveries and collections
- Securing loads safely using curtain side procedures
- Carrying out vehicle checks and compliance duties
- Managing delivery paperwork and schedules
- Maintaining high standards of professional driving and customer service

Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 Licence (C+E)
- CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 Driving Experience
- Minimum 12 months tramping experience
- Previous curtain sider / general haulage experience preferred
- Knowledge of load securing and safe driving practices
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
