Job Overview:
We are currently recruiting reliable and motivated Hgv Class 2 Delivery Drivers to join our established food distribution team based in Salisbury. Paying £19.39 per hour. This role involves delivering ambient food products to a variety of customers including care homes, hotels, schools, restaurants, and prisons. Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-drop delivery of ambient food products to multiple customer locations
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness
- Follow all health & safety and food handling regulations
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Alternate Saturdays required
- 5:00 AM start time
- Guaranteed 9 hours per day
- Guaranteed 45 hours per week
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Good knowledge of road safety and driving regulations
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
