Job Description
We are actively looking for multiple, reliable HGV 2 drivers to work for our client, one of the largest privately owned companies in the UK. EMploying more than 7,000 individuals with a turnover of over 1.3 billion they are a always on the lookout for talent!
The Role
Being at the forefront of the business, you’ll be delivering to schools, Stores restaurants, pubs, hospitals and care homes and will be carrying out 5-15 drops per day which could be ambient, Chilled or occasionally frozen. Within this role you will have to ensure:
- Accurate order picking
- Roll cage deliveries of products using refrigerated vehicles and tail lifts
- collection of empty roll cages and customer waste/returns
- Occasional help stores with the deliveries
- Nationwide deliveries
- Daily vehicle checks
- Accurate tacho useage
Work Pattern
- usually 4 out of 7 days but potentially more if within driving hours.
- Monday to Sunday
- 40-48 hours weekly average
- start times between 03:00-06:00am
Rates
- Monday to Friday £18.00 per hour
- Saturday £22.00 per hour
- Sunday £24.00 Per hour
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 Drivers Licence, Tacho Card, CPC
- Good English and Communication skills
- The ability to complete paperwork in an orderly fashion
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- experience preffered.
